Some piercings require us to have a certain shape, curve or depth to our anatomy for a piercing to be pierced safely and securely in the body. Even though we all have ears or navels for example, we are all shaped differently and this can effect the healing, the symmetry of a piercing or even worse case scenario surfacing/ migration.
